Please join us in welcoming Don Walters as the newest City Manager for New Orleans. With over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry as the manager responsible for all logistics and labor management for some of the largest music artists in the world. This included but was not limited to: building stages, installing the sound rig, setting up lighting, and electrical installations. This was accomplished by utilization and implementation of detailed blueprints. In 2015 Don took a unique turn in his career trajectory. Joining the local union, he ventured into building booths for trade shows during his spare time. What began as a side gig quickly transformed into a passion project. Within his local union, Don has held several positions, showcasing not only his commitment to his craft but also his leadership and organizational skills. His journey from a stagehand in Portland to the City Manager of New Orleans reflects a rich tapestry of experiences, each thread contributing to the skilled and versatile professional he is today. As Don Walters steps into his new role at Momentum Management, the city of New Orleans can anticipate a harmonious blend of his diverse expertise, innovative vision, and steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional events. Don's arrival promises an exciting crescendo for the events and entertainment scene in the Big Easy.
