A German display house, Standex reached out to us in 2014. They were looking for an I& D company in the States to partner with. we met with the owner of Standex in Las Vegas to introduce ourselves and discuss their needs. The main project they needed help with was the Terex exhibit at the ConExpo show in Las Vegas in 2014. This is a huge show that takes place every three years. Terex is a crane building company that has a massive outdoor exhibit, which takes about 5 weeks just to install, and it just so happened that the Standex was installing this same exhibit at the Bauma show in Munich Germany later in 2013.
02 . The Solution
Momentum offered to send two people to Germany to work on the installation of the Terex exhibit at the Bauma show. Standex took us up on our offer, we sent two men that worked for a week on the exhibit. After this we created our estimate for the Terex exhibit at ConExpo based on what we learned at the Bauma show. Standex accepted our estimate, and Momentum installed the exhibit at the ConExpo show which was a huge success. The partnership with Standex continues today. We’ve set the Terex exhibit at ConExpo 4 times now.
